Ardbeg 19 Year Old “First Witch” – Witches Series, Macbeth Act One:
It is the first of four single malts selected as Weird Sisters in Livingstons Macbeth series. Elixir Distillers chose to keep the origin of the whiskey a mystery on the label as the original text bottle did not mention the witch. But they argue that the Pedro Jiménez casks used to mature First Witch were filled at a distillery on the coast of Kildalton on the Isle of Islay. The Shakespeare Scotch Whiskey Collection is a collaboration between Livingstone Design Studio whiskey writer Dave Bloom Elixir Distillers and renowned painter Sir Quentin Blake.
